Association for the United States Army

Each year the Association for the United States Army (AUSA) holds an expo to highlight programs and initiatives within the Army. In 2005, they celebrated their 230th anniversary. For the expo they wanted to create  celebratory graphics that highlighted the evolution of the Army and the American Soldier.

This was an amazing project to work on that introduced me to resources I had never imagined were available. I worked with senior leadership at AUSA to present campaign ideas. Once a direction was selected, I teamed with their internal designers to source images from the Library of Congress and the U.S. Army’s image archives.

The project required immense coordination with the printer, as well as the promotional staff at the MCI Center and the city of Washington, D.C.’s public works office to safely display the creative around the city.
